The Problem

The customer needed a solution for their garage exterior windows. Their garage was recently converted to an extra bedroom however, UK council restrictions meant they needed to make sure the exterior of the building was still in keeping with the look of the other properties on the street (like a garage door)

The Solution

After discussing different exterior shading options we decided that external tiltable louvres would be the most suitable option for our customer’s requirements. These timber louvres allow a full view through, as well as

The Product

We installed timber louvres to the front exterior of the customers new extension. We painted the timber in a white so they would completely match the rest of the street’s garage doors.

By having tiltable louvres the customer can now enjoy a full view through, with total privacy. Plus the louvres are fully motorised for ease of use. Our customer can now enjoy their new room whilst keeping that very important ‘garage’ look and avoiding any council planning restrictions!
